Sentry Security (“Sentry”, “we”, “us”) is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. This policy covers our website, waitlist, enquiries, and email conversations. Contact us at hello@sentrysecurity.ai.
A connection to a Microsoft 365 tenant is a separate process. This policy does not replace any privacy or data-processing terms provided for the Sentry platform or a tenant scan.
Information we collect
When you join the waitlist, we collect your email address. We also record campaign tags in the page URL and the referring website’s domain when available.
Demo and Scan requests collect your name, email, organisation, and any team details, preferences, or notes you provide. If you email us, we receive your address and message.
Our hosting services process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, such as IP addresses and request details. Our form endpoint uses a short-lived hash of the IP address and time window to limit repeated submissions.
Website forms do not request Microsoft 365 passwords, tenant logs, or email contents. Please avoid sending credentials or sensitive incident evidence through a general enquiry.
How we use it
We use enquiry details to answer questions and arrange the next steps you request. We rely on our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and operating a secure website, or on steps you ask us to take before entering a contract where applicable.
Joining the waitlist gives us permission to send early-access news and Sentry updates. You can withdraw that permission at any time by emailing us. Demo and Scan enquiries do not automatically subscribe you to these updates.
Campaign information helps us understand which links lead to signups. We do not use these forms to make solely automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
Storage and service providers
Form submissions are saved in a private inbox restricted to its authorised Sentry owner. Service providers supporting hosting, database storage, and email may process information to operate those services. Our current website and form infrastructure uses Sites and Cloudflare; email conversations are handled through our email provider.
Service providers may process data in countries outside your own. Where data-protection law requires safeguards for an international transfer, appropriate safeguards are required. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your enquiry. We do not sell your enquiry or waitlist details.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to respond, manage any ongoing conversation, and meet applicable record-keeping or legal requirements. Waitlist details are kept while we provide the updates you requested, unless you withdraw or the waitlist closes.
You can ask us to delete your details. We may need to retain limited information to honour a request not to contact you or meet a legal obligation. Expired form rate-limit entries are cleared during subsequent accepted submissions.
Your choices and rights
Depending on the law that applies, you may be entitled to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict its use, or object to processing. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Send requests to hello@sentrysecurity.ai. We may need to verify that a request relates to your information. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes to this policy
We update this page when our website or information-handling practices change. The date above identifies the current version. We will give additional notice where required for a material change.
